In light of recent reports that the NHS aims to recruit a further 5,000 healthcare professionals by 2020,London-based Global Health Professionals have discussed how they aim to accelerate this with their Mandatory Training and Clinical Workshops.

Effective from April 2016, the Nursing and Midwifery Council Revalidation Process asks nurses and midwives to demonstrate the safe and effective practice of their respective areas of healthcare, through a series of educational and participatory exercises. The procedure promotes good practice, with hopes to strengthen public confidence in the nursing and midwifery professions. As stated on the official NMC website, the process is intended to “encourage you to reflect on the role of the Code in your practice and demonstrate that you are ‘living’ the standards set out within it.”
