  • Prevention And Management of Potential and Actual Aggression (PAMPAA) in Community Settings Update Training Workshop is a course that will help practitioners to identify behaviours that indicate an deescalation and the use of restrictive physical intervention skills techniques towards actual and potential aggression and to take appropriate measures using techniques which meet the requirements of national recommendations. Service user in any mental health environment may display disruptive behaviour, this behaviour may increase until the service user feels genuinely safe, secure and able to build attachment relationships with the staff . As a practitioner , we have a duty of care to ensure the welfare and security of everyone. This course identifies the skills needed to ensure that behaviour is managed in a positive and safe way for all those concerned. Candidates will gain the essential knowledge, skills and confidence to prevent, decelerate and deescalate crisis situations.

This is a training update, candidates may require to confirm that they have completed the 3 days MAPA training.
