Global Health Professionals (GHP) Ltd, a training facility based in Central London, has announced that it will be running additional High Quality Training Courses in Health and Social Care in association with North London College.
Health and social care is a vast and rapidly changing service sector which has recently received a high profile in the news. With Heather Wheeler, an influential backbench Tory MP, earlier this month suggesting that at least 2bn of the NHS budget should be used to meet the costs of social care for older people, and last week’s announcement that Lyn Romeo will become England’s first ever chief social worker for adults, there is now becoming an ever increasing demand for highly-skilled and well-trained people across a wide range of rewarding employment opportunities. GHP Ltd has quickly responded by announcing that it will now be conducting Health and Social Care courses at its London Bridge based training facility. High Quality Training Courses
With priorities moving towards being more responsive to patient needs and providing service-users more control and independence, work in the health and social care sector now truly offers a real sense of personal and career development. The High Quality Training Courses offered by GHP Ltd are an invaluable starting point for young people who want to develop a basic knowledge and explore the sorts of job roles and services that are available. Ultimately the training will provide people with the skills they will need to make a real difference to the patients they will subsequently have the responsibility for caring for. High Quality Training Courses
The courses conducted in SE1 by GHP Ltd will include the Level 1 Award in Adult Health and Social Care (QCF) and the Level 1 Award in Introduction to Health, Social Care and Children and Young People’s Settings (QCF). Both qualifications aim to develop knowledge and awareness of the types of provision in the Health, Social Care and Children and Young People’s sectors, from principles and values through to health and safety and working with others. The courses integrate varied teaching methods and assessments (including designing charts and leaflets and oral questioning) and also include the option to explore more specialised areas such as learning disability, sensory loss or mental health. This means that people are given valuable insight and real world experience whilst providing the flexibility to achieve the skills they will need to pursue a worthwhile career in any given area of the sector. High Quality Training Courses
With an increasing demand for social care support being seen as one of the most important issues currently facing the NHS, the provision of high quality training courses and maximising opportunities for people to pursue a career in the sector have never been more important. GHP Ltd is taking the forefront in meeting these needs. High Quality Training Courses
