Chest X-Ray (CXR) Interpretation Workshop

  • Chest X-Ray Interpretation Workshop focusing on the broad perspective of assessment and diagnostic on chest radiograph results. The Workshops will provide the evidence based information to enhance the knowledge, skills and confidence  of a Practitioner. Learning to interpret X-rays is a skill required for both Doctors, Nurses and other Healthcare Professionals for advanced practice in the care of patients that requires CXR procedure, to discuss cases with other Multidisciplinary team and make clinical decisions presenting  Patient’s CXRs’ results.

  • Patient assessment, Patient identification and obtaining consent
  • Assessment of Distinct Anatomical Parts

  • Assess lung volume
  • Technical factors-Positioning and short of breath
  • Chest X-Ray Results Interpretation 
  • Pathology, recognising air spaces and diseases
  • Clinical Examples of Case Studies
  • Documentation and Record Keeping
